Hey everyone!
Welcome to the first "POINT of View" of the year. This is a place for thoughts to be shared and for me to connect with all you POINT go-ers on a more intimate level.
Sunday night (2.10.08) was amazing....
Theron and Heather Terhune did an incredible job sharing how, when and where to look for love. It was awesome to see such a Godly couple share from the depths of their hearts. It made me think..how can my wife, Autumn, and I grow in our faith together? Theron gave the example of running a race where you look over and see someone else running right alongside you. While he was sharing that, I thought of how Autumn and I met at a UGA vs. Tennessee football game. She displayed such passion, not just for the team, but for Christ. As we got to know each other, I realized I had found someone to run my race with. Theron and Heather were so encouraging; it gave me hope and made me want to set goals for how to shine as a living example of the love Christ has for me. I pray that my marriage, with the help from God, will blossom into a living worship for our Father. As "Love is in The Air", remember the person who embodies love: Christ. He gave us an amazing self-sacraficing love and continues to offer it to us daily.
I look forward to next week as we start our series "He is Legend." God is going to use our speakers in amazing ways to share how God has been legendary throughout our lives. See you Sunday!
